$80,000 stolen from man at Aurora bank

AURORA - A man was assaulted and $80,000 stolen from him outside a Key Bank in Aurora around 10:28 a.m. on Sept. 7.

The victim, who works at D'Hispanos, a check-cashing business, withdrew $80,000 for the business.

According to Aurora Police, the man was assaulted by two black men as he left the bank, located at 10502 East Arizona Drive.

Police say the suspects beat the man, took the cash and fled in what appears to be a white Lincoln LX.

Photos of the suspects and their vehicle were captured by a passerby who had a dash camera.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
