BRIGHTON - Brighton police are trying to identify a suspect in a drive-by shooting that happened in broad daylight.
According to a release, officers were called at around 12:30 Saturday afternoon after someone fired shots into an SUV parked on the corner of Brighton St and N 11th Ct.
Witnesses described the shooter as a heavy-set Hispanic man wearing a black ball cap. He reportedly left the area in a silver-colored sedan with a cracked windshield, damage to the front bumper, and a bent rear license plate. It was last seen heading south on 12th Ave from Brighton St.
