Colorado Springs shooting suspect in custody

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - Police have a 19-year-old man in custody following a deadly shooting early Saturday morning.

At 12:41 a.m., Colorado Springs Police responded to a home in the 2500 block of Balboa Street. Once inside, they discovered a man and woman dead inside the home.

Police asked the community for help finding the suspect, Elijah Phillips, who is now in custody. The police tweeted its thanks for the tips that helped officers find him.

The identities of the victims have not been released. Investigation is still ongoing.
