Denver murder suspect on the run

DENVER - The Denver Police Department distributed a photo Thursday afternoon of a man wanted for the slaying of a man found dead in a River North-area alley Monday.

The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Shakeele Carter, is wanted for first-degree murder for the shooting death of 25-year-old Jamarcust Mister.

Denver Police describe Carter is 6’6” and 190 pounds. There’s no word on where he is believed to be or what the motive may have been for the shooting.

Mister was shot dead in an alley between the 2800 block of Arapahoe and Lawrence Streets.
