DENVER – The campaign office of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was vandalized for the second time in less than 24 hours Friday night.
A man threw a rock through a window of the office as staffers were working inside.
Denver Police were able to take the suspect into custody shortly after 8:30 p.m. A security guard in the area helped detain the suspect until police arrived on scene.
The rock left a gaping hole in the window about the size of a melon, Steve Barlock, co-chair of Trump’s Denver campaign said.
About 14 volunteers were inside the office at the time. No one was injured.
Friday morning, volunteers arrived at the campaign office to find vulgar graffiti message sprayed on the side of the building. Police have not made any arrests in that incident.
