Deputies seek man who removed ankle monitor

ADAMS COUNTY - The Adams County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding a man who removed his ankle monitor. 

According to a release, deputies learned Sunday afternoon that 31-year-old Ying Xiong had removed the tracking device. It was found in the 1400 block of Julian St, southwest of I-70 and Federal Blvd.

He is on $100,000 bond for Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender and Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

Xiong is described as an Asian male, 5'9" and 190 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees Xiong is urged to stay away from him and call 9-1-1.
