Driver accused of threatening Good Samaritan

A woman was trying to help a man involved in a car crash, when she became a victim of violence.

DENVER - A woman was trying to help a man involved in a car crash, when she became a victim of violence.

Investigators say 36-year-old Jonathan Singlevich crashed his car at I-70 and North Central Park Boulevard last week.

A woman saw what happened, and stopped to make sure Singlevich was not injured.

Singlevich is accused of threatening her and forcing her to drive to a nearby hotel.

The woman then went back to the crash site to inform police on what had happened.

Singlevich was arrested on April 7. He faces charges for second degree kidnapping, careless driving, menacing and failure to report an accident.

He remains in custody at Denver city jail with a bond set at $150,000.
