Man arrested in Sheridan homicide

The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner today identified the man shot and killed Monday in the Curtis Park neighborhood. 25-year-old Jamarcust Mister was pronounced dead at the scene along Arapahoe Street near 28th Avenue.

SHERIDAN - A 45-year-old man has been taken into custody for the death of 35-year-old Brandon Glenn Wright, who was found slain inside of a Sheridan home last week.

James Hoganson was arrested at 4101 S. Federal Blvd. Wednesday on allegations on second-degree murder.

This comes almost a week after Wright was found dead at 3985 S. Federal Blvd., according to Sheridan Police.

Investigators haven’t said how Wright and Hoganson knew each other, or what the motive was for the alleged murder.

No additional information was immediately available.
