Man found guilty in brutal robbery, murder

DENVER - A third and final man has been found guilty of robbing and killing a 61-year-old in north Denver last year.

Derek Webb, 29, was found guilty of two counts of murder, burglary and aggravated robbery for the May 6, 2015 crime.

His co-defendant, 39-year-old Chad Baluska, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the case and will be sentenced in January.

A third perpetrator, 26-year-old Eric Fuhs, will spend life in prison after he was found guilty of first-degree murder, burglary and aggravated robbery.

He was the victim’s nephew.

Prosecutors say Webb, Baluska and Fuhs went to victim Samuel Grady’s home in the 4900 block of Green Court and shot him.

They then stole his wallet and his truck.
