Man on roller skates steals bench from Littleton house

LITTLETON - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is looking for  a man who rolled up on skates to a home in Littleton on Oct. 4 and stole a bench.

The man stole the bench, which was made from old seats from Red Rocks Amphitheatre, from a home near South Newland and West Canyon streets around 4:30 a.m.

According to surveillance video, the man, who is described as having a slim build, short, dark hair and appears to be in his late 20's, approached the house wearing the skates. He took the skates off and put on regular shoes before stealing the bench, which has Red Rocks seats 149 and 150 on it.

During the incident, he set off the home's motion lights.

The man was last seen wearing a white hoodie, black coat, black pants, black shoes and white roller skates. He was seen driving a dark four-door sedan.
