KUSA - A man who pleaded guilty to shooting at police officers during a traffic stop was sentenced.
Adrian Brandon Moya was sentenced to 32 years in prison for attempted first-degree murder.
Two Northglenn officers were conducting a traffic stop on Dec. 19, 2015 when they realized Moya, 24, had an outstanding warrant for felony menacing and forgery.
Moya, a passenger in the car, tried leaving the scene and shot at officers.
The officer, who was protected by his ballistic vest, was shot twice.
The officer shot back at Moya, hitting him multiple times. Moya was treated for his wounds and arrested.
