COLORADO SPRINGS - Police said Thursday afternoon that a pair of men wanted for a Nov. 26 homicide are also wanted for a double-murder that happened three days later.

One of the suspects, Haywood Eugene Miller Jr., is in custody. The other, Richard Allon Spanks, remains on the run.

The first incident happened on Nov. 26 on Carmel Drive. One person was killed. The second happened on Nov. 29 in the 3500 block of Mosswood Lane and claimed the lives of two people.

Spanks has an extensive criminal history, and ties to the Denver metro area, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Police say he is considered armed and extremely dangerous.
