Second arrest made in death of JeffCo man

JEFFERSON COUNTY - A suspect in a Jefferson County homicide case is now in custody.  

Kenneth Crise, 56, was taken into custody on a warrant for first-degree murder. He was found Thursday by the Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force. Authorities say he had been staying at a hotel in the area of Interstate 25 and Dry Creek. 

The victim, identified as 26-year-old Samuel Stewart, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, deputies say. His body was found in the 11300 block of West Maplewood Drive on May 1.

The other suspect, 27-year-old Jordan Lemarinel, was arrested May 5 on unrelated charges for drugs and weapons possession.
