LAKEWOOD - A King Soopers in Lakewood is back open after police had to close the store while they searched for a possible armed person.
Police received a call just before 9 a.m. Monday from a person who said they were being chased into the store by a man with a gun.
Police closed the King Soopers at 1555 Quail St. while they swept the store and interviewed the reporting party.
There were no reported injuries, no shots fired and no arrests.
The grocery store was able to reopen after 10 a.m. Monday.
