Suspect sought after man killed leaving after-hours club

DENVER - Police are trying to find the person who shot and killed a man shortly after he left an after-hours club early Sunday morning.

The victim, identified as 38-year-old Gerald Hammons, was gunned down outside of his vehicle parked on 29th Street at Welton Street.

He had been leaving Wardenclyffe at 2852 Welton Street just before the shooting.

Denver Police say the suspect fled the area and has not been identified.
