Suspects caught on camera stealing bongs, pipes

FORT COLLINS - Bongs, pipes and other paraphernalia were taken from a Fort Collins business during a smash and grab caught on tape.

Now, the public is being asked to identify the three people seen in the video.

Fort Collins Police released surveillance video of the break-in that occurred on August 9 at Rock N' Robin's in the 800 block of South College Avenue.

Police said the burglars caused about $17,500 in damages and losses.

The first shot in the surveillance video shows three people leap into the store from a side window. Then, another camera angle shows more of the store where the trio is seen smashing glass displays and filling bags with inventory.

One suspect in a hat leaps onto the counter near the exit and leaves through broken window.

The other two suspects in hoodies begin to walk out but not before one holding a baseball bat grabs one last bong then leaps out through the window.

The last suspect makes for the same exit as the other two. He slips and falls on the counter, regains his stance and jumps out the window.

Police said the suspects initially tried to enter the store through the front glass door, but they could not break the glass.
