Suspect shot convenience store clerk during robbery: Police

KUSA - Denver Police would like your help identifying two suspects who allegedly shot and robbed a Downing convenience store clerk on Saturday.

Two men reportedly walked into a store at 2815 N. Downing Street armed with handguns, according to a crime alert from DPD.

One suspect reportedly shot at the clerk - hitting him - while demanding money, police say.

The first suspect is believed to black, 18-22 years old, about 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was seen during the robbery wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white athletic shoes, police say.

The second suspect is believed to be black, 22-25 years old, about 5-foot-9 with an average build. He was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing across the front, blue jeans, and black and white athletic shoes.
