DENVER - A man accused of cutting the throat of a patron at a popular Denver restaurant has been formally charged.
Anthony Ealy is charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and crime of violence.
On Sept. 6, Ealy reportedly attacked a man who was sitting at Mead St. Station. Police say Ealy came up from behind him and cutting his throat with a knife. Ealy was arrested the next day.
He remains in custody; his bond is set at $150,000. A judge ordered him to wear a GPS monitoring device upon release.
It's unclear the condition of the victim. He was transported to the hospital, and witnesses say they saw him clutching his throat.
