GREELEY - A Weld County jury returned a guilty verdict Friday against a woman in connection with a deadly road rage incident in 2015.
Nacole Lee Grim, 30, of Frederick was found guilty of two counts of vehicular homicide caused by reckless driving and one count of recklessly causing third-degree assault.
Grim faces up to 24 years in prison for the vehicular homicide convictions and an additional 2 years for the assault charge.
According to court testimony, on April 15, 2015, Grim was headed south on Interstate 25 near Mead when she crashed her GMC Envoy through the median cable barrier, darted into oncoming traffic and collided with a Scion SUV driven by Dang Mantkhong, 34, of Parker. That vehicle then collided with a semi truck and became wedged underneath it.
Grim’s Envoy also crashed into a Jeep Wrangler, driven by Andrea Weiss, 39, of Fort Collins.

Mantkhong and Weiss were pronounced dead at the scene. Another driver involved in the crash sustained moderate injuries.
A witness testified at the trial that prior to the crash Grim was traveling at a high rate of speed in the left lane. As the witness moved into the right lane, Grim allegedly flipped her off and continued down the interstate.
During this exchange, Grim drifted into the right lane and overcorrected, causing the fatal crashes.
