Arapahoe HS shows how 'Warrior Strong' they are

LITTLETON – Claire Davis would have walked the stage on Thursday to graduate. It has been more than five months since the tragic shooting. Graduation day would've been her day, too.

Thousands of students and proud family packed into Littleton Stadium to celebrate and honor the Class of 2014. It was a guarded ceremony with media placed in an area outside of stadium grounds behind a barbed-wired fence.

Speakers talked about being "Warrior Strong" and being proud of the accomplishments of all the students.

On Dec. 13, 2013, Claire was shot in the head by a student carrying a shotgun and Molotov cocktails. She was a senior who was known as a good student and avid equestrian.

On Thursday, a diploma was issued to Claire's parents.

The family of the shooter, Karl Pierson, issued a letter addressing the graduates. He also would've have graduated today. You can read the entire letter here:
