DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - When it comes to your return on investment, what Colorado college delivers the best value?
According to a new report by pay compensation company PayScale, it's the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) in Golden.
PayScale said its rankings were determined by 20-year return on investment (ROI) factoring in the school's on-campus costs, and 1,442 schools were ranked.
CSM delivered the nation's fifth-best ROI, returning a 20-year net ROI of $883,000 for in-state students.
Nationally, the federal U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York, delivers the best 20-year net ROI, at $1.056 million.
