DENVER - One in four Coloradans experience a mental health or substance use disorder each year – that’s one million people -- and many of them go without treatment.
That’s way Gov. John Hickenlooper is declaring May 2017 Mental Health Month.
His proclamation deals with the importance of early intervention and ending the use of jails for Coloradans in crisis, according to Mental Health Colorado.
During the month of May, Mental Health Colorado is asking people to share their stories using #MyStory.
