Suspected serial killer sentenced to 48 years on different charge

BOULDER - The man suspected to be Colorado's latest serial killer will likely spend decades in prison after pleading guilty to theft and habitual criminal charges.

A judge immediately sentenced him to 48 years in prison.

Our partners at The Denver Post say Wednesday's plea deal is unrelated to Kimball's ongoing plea deal talks in the disappearance of three young women and his uncle.

9Wants to Know has learned Kimball will likely admit to one murder and point authorities to the location of other bodies.

In a jailhouse interview in August, Kimball denied killing anyone.

Leann Emry, Kayci McLeod, Jennifer Marcum and Terry Kimball were all last seen or thought to be with Scott Kimball in 2003 and 2004. None of whom have been heard from since./>
