DENVER - Authorities are asking the public for help in finding a suspect they say broke into a sporting goods store and stole guns.
Denver Police say a suspect broke into the Sports Authority in the 1000 block of Broadway early on Saturday morning.
According to investigators, the burglar smashed through the glass front door, cut the cable holding the long guns at the gun counter and stole three shotguns.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). You can also send a text to 274637 (CRIMES) then title DMCS & enter your message. Crime Stoppers collects information on unsolved crimes or individuals wanted by the police. Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
