LEADVILLE - At 12, one young man in Leadville is already able to say he's a business man - after raking in hundreds of dollars in days.
Along Main Street Leadville Sam Frykholm decided if he's going to work this summer - he will work for himself. Taking his grandmothers family recipe Sam has started his own crepe business that comes with a catchy name: Holy Crepe.
"My dad and I were sitting down coming up with a name and it seemed like a good funny name," said Frykholm.
He's gone to town council to get his business license and even filed for his own health permit. With some investment help from family and friends same bought a used crepe stand.
"It was a caramel corn stand in Aspen and then a hot dog stand in Denver," said Frykholm.
After four days of cooking, his sales are sizzling and Sam has already made a crepe load of money.
"Probably about $400 in four days," said Frykholm.
That's not bad for a 12-year-old who stands at 4'11" and says if you buy from him you will truly be supporting a small business.
