DENVER - Operations at Manual High School are back to normal after the school was briefly put on lockdown due to a report of a person with a gun sitting on a bench nearby.
A witness saw the person on the north side of school property near Fuller Park, according to Denver Public Schools. This prompted the school to go on lockdown.
When Denver Police arrived, three people were in the area. They ran away, but officers were able to catch them and take them into custody.
The suspects have not been identified. Police haven’t confirmed if any of them were armed.
DPS says no threats were made against the school, and no person with a weapon ever entered the building.
No one was injured.
