EDWARDS - Four people were rescued from a raft that got pinned on a rock in the middle Eagle River in Edwards.
The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office was notified about the stranded rafters just before 2 p.m.
Three men and one woman were in the raft, but only one was wearing a life jacket.
Rescue crews tossed them life jackets and used ropes to secure the raft and brought three people to safety.
The final rafter freed the raft from the rock and brought it to shore with the help of firefighters. No injuries were reported.
The Eagle River Fire Protection Distirct, Vail Mountain Rescue and Eagle River Fire assisted in the rescue.
