6 businesses in Broomfield hit by smash and grab burglars

Six businesses were burglarized during smash and grabs early Wednesday morning in Broomfield.

BROOMFIELD, CO. - Six businesses were burglarized during smash and grabs early Wednesday morning in Broomfield.

Police say they received a burglar alarm at around 3 a.m. from a business in the 1100 block of Highway 287. When officers arrived they found that two businesses had their windows smashed and cash and merchandise missing.

A short time later, Broomfield dispatchers got a second alarm from a business in the 300 block of Nickel Street. Officers found two other businesses with smashed windows and missing merchandise and cash.

Two other businesses in the 2000 block of 136th Ave. reported stolen cash and merchandise after smash and grab burglaries, too.
