Air handling issues shuts down VA operating rooms

DENVER - The Denver Veterans Affairs Medical Center said it has identified a need to examine air handling units serving operating rooms at the medical campus.

The hospital said it will postpone any open surgical procedures. All patients scheduled in the next week are being contacted and will be rescheduled for a later date.

It's not clear how many patients are affected.

No other details were released.
