Several residents evacuated due to wildfire

FREMONT COUNTY - Firefighters are working to contain a brush fire that has forced the evacuation of two subdivisions.

The Fremont County Sheriff's Office says the fire was first reported just after noon on Florence Mountain near North County Road 15.

It's estimated about 15 acres are burning, forcing the evacuation of the Los Pinios and Corley Ranch subdivisions and residents on County Road 15.

The Bureau of Land Management is providing air support to crews battling the blaze.
