Joint memorial for southern Colo. couple held Saturday
|
MONTE VISTA - The memorial service for the parents killed in their home last month in Monte Vista was held on Saturday. ![]() The local community gathered at Monte Vista High School to remember Tracy and Joanne Rinebarger. The couple was killed in their Monte Vista home back on Oct. 26. Tracy Rinebarger was a potato inspector for the United States Department of Agriculture, while Joanne Rinebarger was a stay-at-home mom. The couple's 14-year-old son is suspected in their deaths. He is a high school freshman at Monte Vista. His name has not been released because he is a minor. Prosecutors will decide next month in court whether to charge him as an adult. If they decide to charge him as a minor, the case will remain private in the juvenile justice system. (Copyright KUSA*TV, All Rights Reserved)
