DENVER - The Federal Transit Administration has given final approval to the environmental impact statement on the 23-mile East Corridor commuter train that will link Union Station with Denver International Airport, RTD said Monday.
The approval should allow the Regional Transportation District to move forward with final design and initial construction on the $1.3 billion DIA train, which is to be completed in 2015.
