DENVER – A fundraiser in the memory of a 3-year-old girl has suffered a major setback after thieves ransacked her family's home.

Brianna Badger died nearly two years ago when she had a massive heart attack on a playground. The little girl suffered from cardiac arrhythmia.

Her parents started the Brianna Badger Foundation and had scheduled a fundraiser for later this month. The money is to raise awareness and research for cardiac arrhythmia.

However, thieves recently broke into their Denver home and stole many of the donations for the foundation. That included $5,000 in cash and jewelry.

The thieves also stole a computer that kept track of all the donations.

The fundraiser auction is still set for Jan. 26. For more information, visit www.BriannaBadger.com.
