The LivingSocial deal for the Denver area Wednesday offered a concealed weapons class at Training and Advisory Services.

A viewer alerted 9NEWS to the offer. When 9NEWS contacted LivingSocial, a spokesperson said the Washington, D.C.-based company pulled the deal as soon as a member emailed LivingSocial, questioning the timing of the offer.

"When we realized that today was the anniversary, we wanted to respect the folks in Denver and remove the concealed class deal," Maire Griffin, LivingSocial director of communications, said.

A spokesperson for Training and Advisory Services said LivingSocial selected the date of the promotion.

"I'm sure they picked the date unintentionally," Graham Dunne said. "We signed up with them months ago."

Last month, 9NEWS viewers questioned another LivingSocial Denver Daily Deal that advertised two hours at a shooting range followed by whiskey tasting.

The fine print stated the two events were separate, but some questioned the pairing of the events in a single deal.
