ENGLEWOOD - It's been five years in development and it looks likes something from the future.
It's a wearable robot, or exoskeleton, called E-Legs. It is designed to help patients who can't walk.
Friday at Craig Hospital, Amanda Boxtell demonstrated the exoskeleton's powers.
"I never believed that I would walk again and here I am walking on my own two legs, but with the assistance of bionic technology," she said.
Boxtel was a patient at Craig 19 years ago when she was paralyzed in a skiing accident. She's been using E-Legs for the past year.
