But they're doing it in an unconventional way with their 2012 Colorado Firefighter Calendar.
Fifteen local heroes - men and women - are featured in the calendar that comes out Aug. 18.
Fired Up for Kids, the producer of the calendar, is a nonprofit organization that focuses on fundraising and raising awareness for the Children's Hospital Burn Center.
The charity will unveil the calendar Aug. 18 at a debut party at the City Hall Event Center on Capitol Hill.
A VIP preview party will be held before the event at 6:00 p.m. At the VIP party guests will receive a calendar with their ticket, a meet and greet with the firefighters, a live painting performance, cocktails and food.
The general admission debut event starts at 8 p.m. It will include a runway show revealing the 15 chosen firefighters and a meet and greet with the firefighters after the show.
Tickets for the event cost $75 for VIP and $35 for general admission. The event is 21 or older for admission.
Calendars will be available for purchase at the event for $20.
