GEORGETOWN - U.S. 6 over Loveland Pass is closed due to an avalanche.
There is no word on when the pass will reopen.
Officials say the slide is small, covering one lane of U.S. 6. The slab was formed by winds and broke loose. There were no cars involved.
The pass remained closed for nearly all of Tuesday due to high winds and the potential of more slides from those high winds. Those high winds are expected to continue on Wednesday.
