Statera partnered with USA Swimming to make the "Deck Pass" mobile and online application. It lets swimmers track their personal times, goals and achievements and share them with other swimmers, coaches and fans.
"Over 10 years ago, we started collecting times from 300,000, swimmers and we have over 60 million times," Fitch said. "Now what we've done is enabled all of that [to be] in the palm of your hand, and you'll be able to look at live results and see amazing things that are going on in swimming. You can compare your child's performance to the Olympic performances."
Statera has also worked with USA Swimming on its website development and core applications.
Since the company was founded 10 years ago, Fitch says Statera has designed thousands of computer systems for numerous clients.
"Deck Pass" is also available to recreational swimmers, coaches and fans. Fitch says the app's basic features are free, while video and live results require a small fee.
