Authorities said Thursday that Owen Park, of Page, Ariz., was issued penalty points against his hunting and fishing privileges and ordered to pay a $200 fine. 

The incident occurred on Sept. 23 near the headwaters of Granite Creek, southwest of Grand Junction Park is a pilot for Classic Lifeguard Air Medical in Page.

He did not return a phone call seeking comment. Wildlife officials say Park and his crew were returning to Arizona after delivering a patient to a hospital in Grand Junction.
