Saturday marked the completion of its 500 new home built in the Denver metro area.
"These 500 homes represent more than 2,000 adults and children who are currently living in high-quality and affordable Habitat homes in this community, " the organization said in a statement.
Habitat Metro Denver started out as a small operation and built only 12 homes in the first 10 years.
Since then it has thrived and become one of the largest affiliates in the United States.
In total, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver completed 100 homes in just three years.
