The Greeley Tribune reports Weld County prosecutors filed charges Monday. Englert didn't immediately return a voice message left at his home.
An arrest warrant affidavit says Englert's wife told police they were arguing over who was supposed to pick up their son from a friend's house. She says she punched Englert when he became aggressive, and he punched her in the side three times.
