The fire was first reported at 9:30 a.m. and is 18 acres in size.

The fire caused a spot fire after winds carried flying embers to another location. The original fire is 85 percent contained. The spot fire is at 50 percent containment.

No structures are threatened at this time. There are eight to 12 structures in the area that crews will work overnight to ensure structure protection.

Colorado was under a rare, late-November Red Flag warning earlier Saturday morning.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
