The Stephen Knight Center for Early Education, Cory Elementary and Merrill Middle Schools near Broadway and Alameda were all placed on lockdown around 2:45 p.m. Friday. 

Those orders were lifted later in the day after police deemed the situation safe for students to be dismissed.

Denver Police are searching for two men who robbed a Chase Bank around 2:45 p.m. Friday. A white van the two fled in was found abandoned near the scene.

Police have brought out a K-9 unit in their search for the two men.
