Authorities haven't yet identified the man. Pueblo County coroner Jim Kramer told The Pueblo Chieftain that he was in his mid-thirties.

Police say the man came out of a house and fired at the officers after they arrived on the scene on Christmas morning.

Then the man went out a back door and was again confronted by police who fired at him. He was shot multiple times and died at a hospital.
