The letter carrier was standing next to their postal vehicle during the robbery. At this point, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service has no reason to believe this robbery is connected to a previous one which occurred near 22nd Avenue and Oneida Street in Denver on Dec. 17. The robberies are being treated as separate investigations.
The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is seeking assistance from the Public in obtaining information which could lead to the identity and arrest of the person(s) responsible for these robberies. A reward of up to $50,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of either robbery suspect(s).
