Snow will remain in the forecast but only as flurries for the front range with less than half an inch of accumulation through Saturday evening. Snow amounts will be higher along the Divide. Higher elevations will receive from 1 to 3". All mountain travel advisories have expired with minimal amount of snow expected through the weekend.
A more significant weather threat will be the very cold air taking over for the weekend. Saturday mornings temperatures at DIA reached -8 during the morning newscast. Afternoon highs will only reach to 19 degrees with a chance for flurries. Snow will end before midnight on the Front Range with overnight lows around -1.
Expect below freezing temperatures for Sunday. There will be a gradual warm-up through Wednesday when the highs will be in the 50s.
