Gov. John Hickenlooper, Colorado Supreme Court Chief Justice Michael Bender, Attorney General John Suthers and former Gov. Bill Ritter attended a ribbon-cutting for the building Monday.
The Supreme Court, the attorney general and the appellate courts were starting work in the new judicial center near the Capitol following the ribbon-cutting. The Supreme Court has been working in temporary housing in a nearby office building since 2010.
The Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center is named for Colorado's 29th governor, who served from 1939 to 1943.
