Officers used simulated weapons that fire pellets as the exercise was conducted in a vacant building on campus.

Officers were presented with a variety of scenarios on campus, then asked to go inside and neutralize the threat of an active shooter. Officers cleared rooms in the building, rescuing "injured" officers and practiced the apprehension of suspects during the exercise.
