It's been nearly 32 years since Herbert Marant was convicted of hiring a hitman to kill his ex-wife Mary Ann Bryan.
The hitman took the 27-year-old mother to the mountains and beat her to death with a rock.
"He took my world from me. And he took her world from her. And he doesn't deserve to walk a free man again, ever," said Jenifer Deeter, who was nine years old when her mother was murdered.
The family goes before the parole board Wednesday, and they say they have been humbled by all of the letters of support they've received.
They fear what would happen if Marant is granted parole.
Hear from the family tonight on 9NEWS at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.
If you would like to write an email in support of the family that they can provide to the parole board, please write to email@example.com before Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013.
