The fire started Thursday afternoon at a hay barn at the Big R store on East Highway 24 in Falcon.
The fire quickly spread to a nearby field.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office evacuated three homes in the area as a precaution.
Multiple agencies are on scene. There are no reports of injuries or other structures damaged at this time.
